Last week a hardy group of
hospitality professionals completed the Exclusive Hotels 30Thirty30 charity
cycle ride, raising over £55,000 for Macmillan Cancer Care and £30,000 for
Springboard.
Some 25 core participants
completed the gruelling 475km cycle over four days. They were joined by many
more fundraisers, who took part in stages between Exclusive Hotels’ royal
Berkshire Hotel, Pennyhill
Park in Surrey, Manor Huose in Castle
Combe, Lainston Huose in Hampshire and South Lodge in West
Sussex.
Among others, Springboard chief
executive Anne Pierce was joined on the ride by Exclusive Hotels’ managing
director Danny Pecorelli, who chose Springboard and Macmillan as the hotel
group’s beneficiaries in its 30th year.
