Congratulations to all of this year's Acorn Award winners.

Wow! what a fantastic weekend we've all just experienced at ABode Chester, it was incredible to see so many budding gladiators but perhaps don't give up your day jobs just yet - you've proved to excel in those rather than become chariot builders!

We'd love to hear any stories from the weekend or even just your memories, if any photos were taken make sure you upload them on here so we can all see them, our pics will be uploaded shortly and I'm sure there will be some comments to those.

Congratualtions once again and make sure you display your 'Acorn' with pride - you deserve to!

Acorns reunion

Hello all. I thought it would be good to have a catch up for whoever is available in the next couple of weeks. I am happy to host drinks and snacks at my hotel some evening. It would be good to keep the contact following the weekend away. It will always be difficult to do something that everyone can make due to the Geographic issues, but there seems to be quite a few of us in London or the surrounds. Obviously we would like to invite the team from Caterer and Unilever if you would like to join us. Would be interested to hear your thoughts. Thanks Rob

Congratulations to all our 2009 Acorn award winners. I'm looking forward to seeing you all in the Cotswolds, in June. Alarmingly, event organiser Lisa Goold dreamt about the awards ceremony last night, and in her dream I whipped off my shirt and started announcing the winners while doing a Saturday Night Fever dabnce routine. I can confirm that my shirt will be staying on at the awards lunch, and that I'll be saving you my questionable dancing moves.
