I'm writing a feature on the delicate subject of bed bugs. It's a positive, awareness raising, advice packed feature on dealing with the issue.
Unsurprisingly perhaps I have yet to find a hotel that will talk about their proactive bed bug strategy.
I really could use one hotel brave enough to say, yes their staff are well trained to spot any issues straight away, they have excellent protocols in place to deal with any potential cases, it's an issue they take seriously, and it's better to deal with it proactively than to take the 'it won't happen to me' approach and wait until complaints arise.
