There are less than 100 days until Prince William and Kate Middleton get hitched. I am sure that the Royal Kitchens are busy working on the menu of the year, which is being hosted by the Queen at  Buckingham Palace after their Westminster Abbey service.

The Queen will give a reception for the couple and their guests followed by a private dinner and dance in the evening for close friends and family hosted by the Prince of Wales.

What would be on your menu for the wedding breakfast?

Due to the nature of the event, I would keep it British, it's the perfect time to celebrate all things UK!  However, given that they're a young couple I'd probably steer clear of more traditional dishes and try something a little more modern and contemporary.

Given that I'm a baker though, I would have to include a selection of mini cupcakes based on traditional British desserts, such as Eton Mess and Bakewell tart:-)
