On 19th May the Olympic Flame starts its journey across the UK at Lands End, finishing at the Olympic stadium on 27th July. According to the organisers it will pass within 10 miles of 95% of the polulation, travelling 8,000 miles.

There are likely to be plenty of locals in communities across the country out to see it pass by so it's worth working out when it's going near your business and planning how to celebrate - and bring in some of that trade.

In the 23rd March issue of Caterer and Hotelkeeper we'll be detailing exactly where it's going and what you can do to make the most of it. But in the meantime we'd like to hear what you've got planned already. Has anyone organised a torch party? Are you putting on drinks outside your establishment to celebrate. Let us know and you could feature on our torch relay map.
