Quick, efficient meal service at the correct temperature is a feature of the temp-futura TR 400 trolley system.

Chilled meals are put on to trays with compartments, and are lidded, pink for hot and grey for cold. Trays are loaded on to the trolleys, to a maximum capacity of 30 each.

Regeneration takes 30-40 minutes. During this time, a pod under the pink lids is activated. Hot and cold items are loaded and served on the same tray with, says the company, no transference of temperature.

Aimed by Temp-Rite at the hospital market, the system costs £500 per bed. The trolley, trays, pods, and crockery are included in the price.
