City centre offers new site for webb

Tania Webb is to become an operations director at City Centre Restaurants in September, when she will join the group to develop a new restaurant chain.

Ms Webb said it was too early to reveal the nature of the chain, but the first outlet would be in London and should open within three months of her joining the company. It was then hoped the chain would go nationwide, she added.

For the past year, Ms Webb has worked for ClubPartners International (CPI), a golf-based leisure group. She opened its first restaurant, Fresco's, last November at the Tytherington Club in Macclesfield. Before joining CPI, Ms Webb worked in Hong Kong where she masterminded a number of restaurant launches.
