Wiltshire-based brewer Wadworth has launched a new beer to celebrate the Royal Wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton, called "Better Half".

The 4% abv beer will launch in April. Wadworth said it would combine pale ale malt with a touch of crystal malt and a "hoppy tang".

Paul Sullivan, marketing manager at Wadworth, commented: "The Royal Wedding is going to be a fabulous occasion and the highlight of the year for many patriotic British publicans. Everyone will be celebrating in their own special way and we at Wadworth wanted to share our enthusiasm for the event with our customers by taking part in the occasion in our very own "small and unique" way by doing what we do best; brewing!"
