Bite Catering has picked up a four-year contract at the Northern & Shell Building in the City of London, home to media titles OK! Magazine, the Daily Express and Channel 5.

Worth £2m in total turnover, the contract started three weeks ago and sees Bite deliver staff restaurant, hospitality and vending services to 1,400 employees.

Nick Parker, Bite managing director, said: "I am very grateful to the client team for allowing us to be truly entrepreneurial in our approach to winning their confidence and the contract.

"Signed paperwork just five weeks after we heard about the opportunity means that there has been no wasted time in doing the really important stuff: getting great food in front of the employees in the Northern & Shell Building.

"This win is another step in the quest to take our brand of fresh food energy into dynamic 21st century workplaces: being a London venue, we shall be stirring the place up with cutting-edge ideas in street food, nose-to-tail eating and marketing."
