Supperclub London founder Mark Cutler to open Honky Tonk in Chelsea’s Hollywood Road

Honky Tonk, a New York-inspired restaurant and bar, is to open in Chelsea's Hollywood Road.

Supperclub London founder Mark Cutler is behind the new project, expected to open this winter, in collaboration with bar and restaurant consultants the Cocktail Service. His latest venture will offer an American menu that takes its cues from Italian and deli influences.

Small and large plates will feature dishes that include ribs, quesadillas, Welsh rarebit with black truffle and mini slider burgers, as well as meatballs, calamari, crab cakes and carpaccio. An open wood-burning oven at the rear of the restaurant will be used to prepare focaccia.

The bar will stock a selection of bourbons and offer a drinks menu featuring beer and tobacco-infused cocktails. Honky Tonk will have regular live music and entertainment with an emphasis on blues, jazz and rockabilly.

Interior design elements include hand-drawn wallpaper, white reclaimed swimming pool tiles, mismatched Ercol tables and chairs and reclaimed Japanese ship lights.
