Bonnie Gull Seafood Shack to open in West End next month

by Kerstin Kühn, Friday 10th August 2012 12:43

The team behind the Bonnie & Wild and the Bonnie-on-Sky pop-up restaurants are to launch a permanent venture in London's West End.

The Bonnie Gull Seafood Shack will open on Foley Street next month, offering a menu of affordable, responsibly sourced and 100% British produce.

Inspired by the Seafood Shack pop-up restaurant in Hackney last year, Bonnie Gull will be open for lunch and dinner and for brunch at the weekends.

Head chef will be Luke Robinson, who previously worked at Jamie Oliver's Fifteen. His daily changing menu will showcase the day's catch, with typical dishes such as Isle of Lewis mussels with Aspell cider and Cumbrian bacon; or Scottish lobster with shoestring fries and garlic butter.

Bonnie Gull will also feature a raw bar serving a selection of fresh British shellfish and cocktails including the signature Bonnie Mary, which comes with a choice of a fresh oyster or grilled prawn garnish.
