Vietnamese restaurant chain Pho to open seventh outlet

Vietnamese restaurant chain Pho is to open its seventh restaurant after acquiring a site in east London.

The group, led by Stephen and Juliette Wall, has taken over the former S&M Café in Spitalfields.

The 85-cover restaurant, which is set to open in late June, will become the group's sixth restaurant in the capital after sites in both Westfield shopping centres, Clerkenwell, Soho and Oxford Circus. Pho also operates a site in Brighton.

Commenting on the new restaurant, Stephen Wall said: "We're thrilled to have finally secured this site after chasing it for a long time.

"Pho's original business plan from eight years ago was based on this exact site, a wonderful building with bags of character and a prime location attracting both office workers and the weekend and evening markets. We're very hopeful it will be a great success".

Davis Coffer Lyons acted for S&M Café while Insight Retail advised Pho.
