Snap up a free digital camera from Dolmio

Italian ready-to-use sauce specialist Dolmio is giving away a free digital camera to help school caterers capture their celebration of the Dolmio-sponsored Get Eating Day, which will kick off National School Meals Week on 7 November.

Special guests will visit schools across Britain on Get Eating Day to encourage pupils to explore different flavours and recipes. As part of the launch, TV character Papa Dolmio and Ray Shortland - development chef for Uncle Ben's and Dolmio and head tutor at the Bridge Sixty Seven Cookery School - will demonstrate at a secondary school how to rustle up quick and nutritious dishes using Dolmio's Mediterranean-themed sauces, which include Arrabiata, Bolognese, Creamy Tomato & Pesto, and Tomato & Basil.

Dolmio sauces meet Responsibility Deal salt guidelines for 2012, are HFA-approved for halal diets and are free from artificial colours, flavourings, gluten, GMOs, MSG and nuts. They can be used straight from the jar as a marinade, dip, sandwich filling, or jacket potato topping and each 2.2kg-2.54kg jar yields 56 to 63 primary school portions as a culinary sauce, 50-plus portions as a dip or 75 to 100 portions as a filling.

To snap up your opportunity of winning a camera, e‑mail your name and contact details to marsfoodservice@proactivecompetitions.co.uk quoting "Caterer/Get Eating Day giveaway" in the subject line.
