AiP extends contract with Woodrush High School

Education caterer Alliance in Partnership (AiP) has extended its relationship with Woodrush High School and Academy for a further four years.

The Worcestershire school has been working with AiP for the past three years. The new deal is expected to be worth around £800,000.

David Weller, managing director for AiP, said: "We are delighted that our contract has been renewed and will continue to provide a high level of service and strengthen our relationship further in the future."

The caterer will invest in a bio-metric cashless system from Nationwide Retail Systems, which is expected to reduce queuing times.

AiP said its fresh, seasonal menus, commitment to green initiatives and customer care had helped secure a number of new and retained catering contracts this year, taking its current portfolio to over 150.

The company announced one new contract and contract extensions with a combined value in excess of £3m in April.
