Vale Sovereign potatoes from Vales Fresh

Vales Sovereign is a new potato variety, which, according to Greenvale AP, has a lower carbon footprint than traditional potato varieties because it requires less water and less fertiliser to grow.

The potatoes are size-graded for baking and supplied under the Jackpots brand in 15kg boxes.

The 100% British potatoes are described as having a traditional flavour and a creamy, soft, velvety texture comparable to King Edward and Maris Piper varieties.
