Red tilipia, basa and Nile perch from 3G

Red Tilapia, Basa and Nile Perch have been added to 3G Food Service and Seafood Solutions' Warm Water Round Fish range, enabling caterers to include less popular species.

Red Tilapia (boned or skinless and boneless 80-120g) is sustainably farmed in Jamaica and has a sweet taste, making it an alternative to plaice or lemon sole fillets.

Fresh Basa is a fresh-water farmed catfish from Vietnam that is sustainably farmed and available frozen or fresh in 140-180g skinless fillets.

Nile Perch was introduced into Lake Victoria in Africa in the 1950s and is one of the largest fresh-water species found and can grow up to 200lbs in size. High in omega-3, this fish has a light and delicate flavour with a firm texture and comes in 170-230g portions.
