The chance to operate up to four restaurants offering a variety of world cuisines in some of the most expensive apartment blocks in the world has arisen in the London borough of Wandsworth.
The plan is to create a promenade of international restaurants at street level within two Thames-side developments housing some of the richest people in the world.
The largest restaurant venue covers 6,250sq ft across two floors in the new 124-apartment Falcon Wharf complex.
The boomerang-shaped block is near the only helipad in London and close to the new Bridges Wharf development whose tenants include Chelsea FC’s billionaire owner Roman Abramovich.
The restaurant space is being offered on a new 25-year, nil-premium lease at £195,000 per annum.
Three additional restaurants with more than 2,000sq ft of space apiece are available in the adjacent Oyster Wharf luxury development for an annual sum of £65,000 each. All are again offered on 25-year, nil-premium leases.
The sites are earmarked for operators of Continental, Chinese, Thai, Indian and Arabic cuisine in order to achieve a cosmopolitan mix.
