The Bench: London weekly hotel performance to 24 September, 2006

London hotels experienced a 21.4% rise in revenue per available room (revpar) in the week ending September 24, compared to the same week last year, the latest figures from hotel benchmarking service, The Bench,  reveal.

Revpar climbed from £105.96 for week 38 in 2005 to £128.65.

Occupancy increased by 7.2% for the same week on a year-on-year basis, up from 83% to 89%. Average room rate climbed by 13.2% to £144.55, up from £127.65 in 2005.
