The Bench: North-western hotel performance in June 2006

Hotels in the North West of England saw revenue per available room (revpar) fall by 2.6% during the month of June.

Revpar dropped to £54.80, down from £56.26 in June 2005, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.

Occupancy decreased by 1.8 percentage points to 77.3% and average room rate fell by 0.3% to £70.92 compared with £71.15 in June 2005.
