A mature farmhouse Cheddar.

Moscow mule [vodka, lime juice and ginger ale].

Sorrento.

You would make your entrance...?
In a 1969 Mercedes 280SL open-top.

Who's stuck in the kitchen?
Peter Gordon - I love his food and admire him as a person.

Wine with the flavours?
Château Lafite 1966.

Bread to mop the food up with?
Focaccia.

Who are the 12 lucky guests?
My husband William, my children (Katie, Liza, Jamie and Harriet), my sister Faith, Victoria Rothschild and Simon Gray, John Wells, Mark Boxer, Chris and Lavender Patten.

Mood music?
Tracks from the album Let It Be.

And who would you invite to play the music?
The Beatles... of course.

Anything decorating the table?
Lilies - no choice.

You'd be wearing...?
My Chloe evening dress.

Any critics you'd like to bar at the door?
Michael Winner.

Who would be your after-dinner speaker?
My husband.

Something to round the meal off with?
Earl Grey and Lapsang Souchong tea, with chocolate truffles, followed by Chƒteau d'Yquem.

A dish of yours for us to remember you by?
Duck breasts with sour cherry sauce.
