New idea for cleaner air
Honeywell has developed an innovative approach to air cleaning with a system called Pure Control. This works on the principle that hot air rises, carrying with it any pollutants such as tobacco smoke and cooking smells.

The air-filtering units can recycle 60% of heat in the exhaust air after cleaning, reducing heating bills in winter. The system is computer-controlled and can be set up for off-site control and monitoring.

The first test installation has been done at Manchester bar and restaurant Mumbo's.

Price: £170 per sq m of room space

Supplier: Honeywell
