Knives with Microban in the handles have been introduced by Victorinox to combat the ever increasing risks of cross contamination.

Microban, a safe, durable and effective protection is built into products to inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria.

A large selection of knives is available from paring knife, pastry knife, bread knife to boning knife and skinning knife.

Also from Victorinox are cutting boards with Microban in the six standard anti cross contamination colours. Made from Polymere, the boards do not absorb moisture, odours or bacteria.
