Vegetable Schnitzels have been introduced by Kitchen Range Foods. The 130g frozen products, shaped like a meat schnitzel, are available in two varieties, Vegetable Tandoori, and Lemon and Black Cracked Pepper Vegetable.

The Vegetable Tandoori is filled with carrot, onion, red pepper, cauliflower, broccoli and rice in Indian spices, coated in a tandoori-flavour crumb with poppadom pieces. The Lemon and Black Cracked Pepper Vegetable, meanwhile, consists of sweetcorn, carrots, broccoli, red pepper, onion and rice in a lemon and black cracked pepper crumb.

They can be cooked three ways - deep-fried, oven-baked or grilled - and are packed in cases of 24.

Cafetiere Combi is the latest coffee machine to be launched by Brasilia. It incorporates a bean hopper with a capacity of 1.2kg and a 4.5-litre hot-water tank. Five different coffee dosages can be preprogrammed on the Combi.

The machine is made from copper and brass, and measures 790mm high, 450mm deep and 485mm wide.

Marcantonio Foods has brought out a selection of products aimed at caterers which produce their own ice-creams and sorbets.

The range includes ice-cream and sorbet bases, together with 15 flavoured pastes which, when used with milk, sugar and double cream, can produce fruit ice-creams and sorbets.

Maggi Creations, developed by Nestlé Food Services, is a range of flavours for adding to gravies, sauces, seasonings, stuffings and coatings.

The six varieties, which are made by whisking a powder into a liquid base, are: lemon, garlic and herb; ale and onion; red wine and wild mushroom; cider and apple; Madeira wine; and curry.

The flavourings are available in six-pack cases, with each pack making 11 litres.

Steelite International has created a range of durable tableware suitable for Oriental dishes as part of its Albalite range of products.

The all-white Mandarin Collection, which has the look and feel of china, includes Oriental bowls, dishes and spoons. Although it is targeted at restaurants offering traditional Oriental food, it is also suitable for serving Chinese-style dishes in pubs or restaurants.
