TASTY, an exhibition of the UK's most successful eateries and bars, is launching its first, month-long show on 23 June at Gallery 2, the Royal Institute of British Architects, 66 Portland Place, London.
Promising exhibits feature around 28 restaurants and bars, including London's Quaglino's, Bar Italia, Wagamama and Belgo, and Edinburgh's the Atrium (see Interiors, 21 April 1994).
The show will address the question of what ingredients make a place successful. It is targeted at designers, owners, chefs, managers and developers. Restaurant proprietor Stephen Bull is writing the brochure's introduction.
The show's organiser Alicia Pivaro hopes to make Tasty a regular event. "Everyone is so excited about it," she said. "I'd very much like to broaden the remit to include more of Europe." For details, contact Ms Pivaro, tel: 071-485 0823.
