Deere back at London Hilton

A former assistant banquet manager at the London Hilton in Park Lane has returned to the hotel as its director of operations. Mark Deere, 35, is second in command to general manager Gianni Riatsch.

Deere last worked at the London Hilton in 1990 and 1991.

He has also worked at the Hilton Jakarta and Hilton Amsterdam, and was director of operations at the Hilton Izmir in Turkey for three years.

He returns to London from the Hilton Athens, where he was director of business development.
