Acquire the tools to take your business to a peak

by Mark Lewis , Friday 13th April 2012 10:56

In this week's Caterer and Hotelkeeper we conduct a forensic examination of the trend towards digital discounting cards, codes and portals, and offer guidance on how to take advantage of these new routes to market without damaging margins or alienating your core customer base.

Meanwhile, our Better Business series takes a trip down to the New Forest to capture the business best practice that saw the Mill at Gordleton named this year's Les Routiers Boutique Hotel of the Year.

Both articles embody our enduring commitment to providing practical guidance, online and in print, on building a better hospitality business.

Now, with the launch of the Caterer and Hotelkeeper Business Summit, we've extended this commitment still further. Our Business Summit aims to bring together decision-makers from all sectors of the industry to learn how to seize opportunities to future-proof and grow their businesses.

Sessions will offer guidance on such mission-critical issues as how to adapt your business to the current economic climate; how to entice corporate business during a time of austerity; and how to identify new customers from overseas and anticipate their needs.

Speakers include De Vere Village Hotels chief executive Robert Cook, British Hospitality Association chief executive Ufi Ibrahim and Red Carnation Hotels managing director Jonathan Raggett.

Taking time out of your schedule to attend our Business Summit will yield the knowledge, tools, opinions and inspiration you need to overcome the challenges of this year and the next.

The Caterer and Hotelkeeper Business Summit takes place on Tuesday 19 June in central London. For further details, and to book your place, go to www.catererconferences.com/catererandhotelkeeper2012.
