Espresso-style joins Rombouts in-cup filter system

The in-cup filter coffee system used by Rombouts has a new coffee variant, Espresso-style filters.

As with other Rombouts in-cup filters, the coffee is contained in an individual plastic filter, which is placed on top of the cup before having hot water poured over it. The water then percolates through the fresh coffee grounds into the cup.

To gain the strong, dark style of espresso, Rombouts gives the beans a long, slow roast to ensure they are roasted through to the core, thereby extracting the maximum amount of strength from the bean. The filters come in packs of 60 with foils of 10 coffee portions to maintain freshness.
