Ethnic food is big business - research shows that 61% of consumers eat ethnic dishes on a regular basis and consumed more than 658 million Chinese meals out-of-home last year.
To help caterers achieve authentic Oriental offerings, AAK has added two nutty oils to its speciality line. Prep Premium Groundnut Oil, which is made from peanuts, has a subtle flavour that will not overwhelm a dish and is tolerant of high temperatures, making it ideal for stir-fries as well as shallow-fried and griddled foods. For a fuller flavour, caterers can opt for the rich, dark Prep Premium Toasted Sesame Oil which adds a strong, nutty tang when sprinkled over salads, stir-fries, noodles and vegetables. It can also be heated to high temperatures or used to marinate meat and fish before frying.
