State-of-the-art cookery school LucyCooks is promoting its facilities in the honeypot Lake District area as an attractive launchpad for food suppliers to demonstrate their new lines.

Founder Lucy Nicholson said previous food launches had proved to be highly successful.

“We felt it was time to shout about the facilities that we can provide for bespoke food launches, so that more companies can enjoy the tremendous launch platform that we can provide for their people and their product, “she added.

The school is sited next door to More! Aritisan Baking and Hawkshead Brewery in Staveley, near Kendal, where it enjoys good rail and road links.

The school’s main cookery theatre can hold up to 24 cooks or seat up to50 delegates, while the riverside AGA room can seat up to 20 guests for more personalised launches.

Both venues have a fully-equipped demonstration island, overhead mirrors, microphones, flat-screen TV to zoom in on the chefs, and room for a camera crew
