Nick Nairn to open cookery school in Aberdeen

Celebrity chef Nick Nairn is set to open his new cookery school in Aberdeen next week.

Nairn, who already has a school in Port of Menteith, Stirling, will launch the new school in Back Wynd in the heart of the city on 12 May.

In addition to all-day cooking experiences, the school will feature quick-cook classes for those short of time, as well as a cookery shop.

Nairn chose Abderdeen for the £500,000 project, which is spread over two floors, when he realised that a 'disproportionate' number of people from the North East were enrolling at his Stirling school.
