Domino's sees annual sales jump by 20%

Take-away pizza firm Domino's UK and Ireland saw like-for-like sales increase by 8.2% during the final weeks of 2000.

Total sales during the year grew by 19.9% to £76m, the company said in a trading statement.

Sales generated through orders over the Internet made up 3.4% of Domino's sales in the run-up to Christmas, compared with 2% in the same period in 1999.
