Scotland's Old Course hotel and golf course in St Andrews has appointed Mairi Tutt as regional sales manager and Jason Schellenberg as golf sales manager. Tutt was previously national sales manager for the De Vere Group. Schellenberg joins the resort from the Macdonald Cardrona hotel in Peeblesshire, where he was golf sales and marketing manager.

British Trust Hotels has made the following internal changes: David Collings, general manager at the Oban Bay hotel, has taken over the same position at the Regent hotel, also in Oban, Argyll. Donald MacLeod, who was general manager at the Caledonian hotel in Ullapool, replaces Collings. Andrew Mackay, previously general manager at the Dunollie hotel on the Isle of Skye, has become general manager of the Caledonian.
